The salt dissolution container is intended for the preparation of the saline solution (CaCl2, MgCl2, NaCl). The solution is used for spreading on roads in the event of frost. The prepared solution is decanted into the container for the storage of solutions or into transport cistern that spreads it on roads.
The container is first filled with clean water. The settings of the manual valves are set into the mixing position (the position of valves for individual functions are marked on the schematic diagram which is attached to the container) and the pump is activated. We pour the salt into the funnel in the centre of the container that is diluted intensively under the jet of water. Salt may be added from paper bags, Bigbag bags or from the silo. The prepared solution is pumped into the container for the storage of solutions or into a transport cistern.
Salt dissolution containers are free-standing. They must be placed and secured on a concrete slab of appropriate size. They are usually placed under projecting roofs in motorway maintenance bases.
